What to wear with copper leather boots?

How do I fashion Red Wings Iron Rangers in the copper color for a university setting? I want that rugged, masculine look and want to make an impression. Do I go with jeans and a flannel, or perhaps a crew neck and a leather jacket? I wouldn’t know what color clothing to wear. I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Look into "Rugged Ivy" and "Dark Academia" -- I'll see if I can find some links Also just "Americana" and choose a decade if you're set on variations of the jeans, tee, flannel look. @Soup fits in #waywt

Thanks! Would you also say those styles work for a university/college setting? If not, what can I go with instead?

Ivy and Academia are both derived from university settings so yes absolutely

Where are you located? US, UK or elsewhere?

Usually on eBay I search for a specific brand or item by a brand and see what there is You can always ask people what certain items are in their waywt posts if you see something you like
senseofphysics
Ok gotcha. Used or new?

both have their pros and cons. new items have less wear but are more expensive, used items cost less but may require more upkeep the particular genre of dress you're looking at tends to look better with worn clothes and more brands classclown highlighted are durable

Yup makes sense!

I was thinking of trying the following for now: • slim faded blue jeans • iron rangers copper • copper leather belt • light blue sweater • black leather jacket (or synthetic light gray bomber from rag and bone)

pretty classic. just may want to stick to straight leg or cowboy cut for the jeans per current trends r&b hasn't been great quality in my experience but I think i only bought one thing there at an airport so idk
senseofphysics
Or it was this bomber

No, you’re right. The quality went down but the prices remained super high. Does the copper work with the blue (not dark indigo) jeans, with copper boots and copper belt? I think the black leather jacket still works even though the belt and boots are copper, right?

matching leathers is a more classic way to go, but honestly not the biggest deal. Black and brown are usually solid. just try it in the store first i'd say

I actually have all these in the images I shared. I can wear them and share for a better idea.

personally light blue sweater with light wash jeans sounds too matchy, but otherwise everything sounds good
senseofphysics
What color sweater would you suggest instead?
