friend cant join mod lobby, but works solo
me and a friend put together a modpack, game runs perfectly fine solo, but when he tried to join it instantly kicks him, doesnt crash, and no error logs or anything. (attatched mod profile)

changed the mod list to onlky ones that say multiplayer compatible, still doesnt work

its not crashing, he just cant join
Then you still got one that even tho it says it's not compatible is causing you troubles.
Gotta find out which one it is and there is no easy way to
ive got one mod that says its multiplayer compatible and it still doesn't work
just to make sure, you both have exactly the same mod list, and if it's dedicated server play instead of direct multiplayer then the server has the same mods too?
And he can connect if neither of you have mods installed?
yeah we tried with just one mod and it didnt work
we will have to try with no mods
