Something went wrong every time I install a mod
I consistently get this error message related to refined power every time I install a mod including mods that are not refined power.
Do i just wait for refined power mod to update to 1.0 support or is there a fix for this?

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced in this channel.

ita simple no need for a debug txt and so on..
Just uninstall the refined power in your Mod manager and you will be fine. That happens when you try to use non compatible mods
Not exactly. This is the error for SMM - it can happen for a number of different reasons, including a failed or attempted (or eve successful) downgrade to U8 before mods were released - among other things.
The debug gives us a lot of information that can reveal exactly what's causing it
I had the exact same problem he just downloaded a old mod. And while that is installed every time you click something that messages pops up. Until he will remove it then it will be fine

If you downgraded to U8 (or even attempted to) one of the guides had people copy the U8 into the existing steam folder.
When updating to 1.0, because the executable changed, it still has the U8 executabale and a bunch of other things
SMM detects that and other aspects of U8, and attempts to install SML3.7 - which doesnt work with 1.0 - and will attempt to install 3.7 versions of mods
This will result in the exact same error message as above.
The debug will tell us info of which it is
Another reason can be a bad combination of mod dependency that is pushing it back to 3.7 - but the mods may individually be ok for 3.8
That is a rare occurrence but not impossible.
And then there are other possibilities.
We don't ask for the debug for no reason - we ask to find the right solution, not an anecdotal one

Key Details for SMMDebug-2024-10-12-09-06-33.zip triggered by @Jopomsome extra info: I never downgraded to U8 after the 1.0 update, refined power mod hasnt been updated to 1.0 just yet but its the only mod that pops up in the error despite me using other mods such as MK++, also i did not uninstall and reinstall between U8 and 1.0
RefinedPower does appear in your current profile, but mods do look to be switched off
Tried turning them on and back off?
If you're wanting to start from scratch, the easiest solution might be to make a new profile

im more curious as to why this error message keeps appearing specifying an issue with refined power and no other out of date mods

thats what i was telling him from beginning .... delete your out of date mods and play
