Cant launch smm
Hi I have downloaded SMM but whenever I click to launch the app it just doesn't pop up. If I restart my pc it launches and then crashes without a error message after I attempt to click on a mod any idea? It seems like maybe its still running but I can't find a task in task manager that i can close out of.

Update : when i delete the files for smm in appdata it creates new ones but a new ui never opens.

Well, so far you two had different reasons for the crash
When I opened it a few mins ago it opened briefly with the green banner about being supported at the top, then closed and wouldn't reopen. Then, I tried to uninstall and reinstall and it wouldn't open at all.

Looks like it didn't use to handle errors in there before, but I had to update to the latest version to fix a crash when showing the file picker for the debug info

btw slight bump on this when i launch on startup for pc it works just fine? it sometimes crashes but cant finda reason that causes it
however whenever it crashes it doesnt launch again

Yeah, it's a really weird error, and the webview wrapper library is handling errors too aggressively
It doesn't even check if the function failed
Just straight up if the global windows error is nonzero it crashes

For reference..., I saw the SMM updated notification and list of fixes, but also still shows v3.0.0.
I'm also having this issue. I quit out of the mod manager because I saw there was an update but there was no option to installthe update, and now it won't open.

ran it and it runs no problem. not sure if the issues of the others here were what i was experiencing, but i'm glad to finally have the screen come up for the game
one of the things i've tried to make sure it wasn't a me issue. i found the older SMM versions on github and downloaded each and ran it to see if i got anything.
think each old version ran but gave me an error about running satisfactory version.
so i decided to join the discord in hopes of finding a solution and was about to do the whole downgrade version to run SMM with mods + having current version to play with a friend if that was a possibility
