Reinstall riot vanguard
@Saucywan tried tha
When do you crash?
random
Like I said randomly when you're inside of a game, Or when you start loading into one?
inside
thas wha it says
Download auto runs from the system internal suite
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns
When you have it open press file, and then run as administrator
Then uncheck anything that is red or yellow
Except Vanguard and anything that fails to be unchecked
Restart your computer and then try the game again
Autoruns - Sysinternals
See what programs are configured to startup automatically when your system boots and you login.
I am having this same exact issue right now and this actually seemed to fix it so far. Played 2 games and haven't run into any BSODs yet (before I would get a BSOD within the first 5 mins of loading into a game). Although I didn't uncheck all of the yellow options as some of them were Microsoft Hardware options.
ive made a riot ticket and now i cant even open val
so
I have a ticket open with them right now too but I could still open Val before I tried this fix that Saucywan posted above. My main issue was that the game would BSOD within the first 5 minutes of opening it. I could queue into a game a play for a moment but then ultimately crash after some time
@Saucywan do you what exactly did the Autorun tool fix? I disabled a couple of yellow items that I recognized (other applications on my PC) and Valorant still seems to be working. Did those applications have a conflict with Vanguard and it was causing it to crash?
Yes
all the time i get this now so i cant load up val
What region?
eu
my logitech software dont boot up now my discord freezes
What happened?
i made a riot ticket they told me to dowload some stuff and now every thing has stopped working
They asked you to do a clean boot right?
ye and then download some other random stuff if a clean boot didnt work
Undo the clean boot
If it didn’t work
To fix the crashing issue
If it did, enable some of the applications and wait until you find the app that is making you crash
apps aren't making me crash tho thats the thing
i can get into val now
Win+r, msinfo32, send a photo
@Saucywan
anything
im trying a spike rush game to see if i blue screen
Ok
open cmd as admin
Enter: sc query vgk
Then enter: sc query vgc
Then send a photo
@Saucywan
You in valorant right now?
ye
@Saucywan
acc i think it might be fixed
@Saucywan im blue screening again
i cant get rid of any ooooof them
I'm having the same issue
exactly the same
tried the autoruns, didn't work
yesterday i clean booted and then it work form the day i load up val and it done it again
I was able to play yesterday now it does this
Valorant is loading up but around ~3 minutes it crashes/BSODs, I'm able to play The Range for a bit but then it just BSODs
already tried uninstalling/reinstalling Valorant
didn't work
ye ive jus blue screened again
I'm uninstalling two updates from Microsoft to see if it works
I have an inkling this might be due to Windows updates
I'll get back here
kk
btw to make keep track of all the steps I undertook for troubleshooting:
1. Provided Full Control via permissions to all VALORANT Executable files (including Riot Client)
2. Troubleshooted Compatibility via properties of all EXE files
3. Run as admin for all EXE files
4. Uninstalled/Reinstalled Riot Client/VALORANT
5. Installed Riot Client/VALORANT to different drive
6. Restored Secure Boot settings on BIOS
7. Restored motherboard keys factory defaults
8. Did the Autoruns suggestion by @Saucywan
Currently on 9. Uninstalling most recent Windows Updates
If this doesn't work, I'm not willing to do a clean windows installation. That's just a little bit too much for this. But if someone could do that, please get back to us and share if it worked/not.
i made a riot ticket they do no help
Number 9 did the trick
I was able to play a full deathmatch
and a few minutes off of range
without BSODs
@Sparky check your windows updates
not sure which of these is the culprit
but I uninstalled both of them
and it eliminated the BSODs
would be great to have the Admins/Mods check this out and see if it helps Riot fix this recent Vanguard issues.
@Strakchy i dont have the same ones but in uninstalling them
@Strakchy nope I’m still blue screening
@Strakchy should i try factory reseting my pc?
it might be fixed i jus factory reset my pc
im crossing my fingers its stopped
is there anything else that helped you tbh I would also do factory reset my notebook but since it contains all my school work etc... I really dont want to do some of the work again
not but i would try @Strakchy method
actually I have no idea how to get to old microsoft updates
since my notebook is on something and updates it self
settings window update, update history, uninstall updates
doesnt WORK wtf is with valo
its just your windows updates?
wait I didnt try the autorun how does that work?
should I somehow delete the red programs or?
Autoruns - Sysinternals
See what programs are configured to startup automatically when your system boots and you login.
press that when your on there
Testing rn seems working
Got to second deathmatch with no BCOD
i reboot my pc , it not let me home screen first , but thiss bsod first , funnnyy
what worked for me was to search up core isolation on windows and turn on memory integrity
if you cant find the core isolation setting then you need to go to bios and turn on virtualization
