cctv mod - I get stuck and can't get out when I 'enter' a camera view

That's the mod i'm referring to. Once I've entered a camera view, I get stuck. Nothing I try let's me go back out and I've tried almost every key I can think off. When I jump, the camera goes back to my character for a second or, but then it goes back.
I really hope that I'm not missing the obvious here...

I don't see that icon.
But I haven't used it for awhile, let me double check it first.
Well, it shows up now. Pretty sure it didn't before though. But the view is static. I can't look around and I believe the mod info says that you can look around?
The mouse doesn't do anything. zqsd don't do anything and the arrow keys don't do anything
But I can confirm I can now exit through that button. And honestly? I could've overlooked it, now that I think about it? I'm not sure what I'm missing about the loking around thing though. There is only one kind of camera, right? I can only see the one at least...
+1 on this, I got stuck in the camera by switching and using my equipped items
I think this UI is not blocking actions, and get stuck, having to "Respawn" to continue the game 😦 i will fix it asap
