is @font-face better or the @import
And WHY do we need an alternative like what's wrong with Google fonts? (i just wanna increase my knowledge)
google fonts violates gdpr, because they sell/sold user accesses and tracks/tracked people through the fonts
google claims to do not do it, but the rulling from the german court hasnt been reversed yet
so, if you want a gdpr compliant website, you need to self-host the fonts or use an alternative service
W8, U can just download Google Fonts and use them (licensed of course) on your server, right?

that's often called "self-hosting"
check if you can subset fonts as per the license... might be a good thing to so as well 👀
