Alden Indy or RM Williams Comfort Craftsman?
Ok so these boots are overpriced and Alden QC is questionable. But my only boot, the Grant Stone Diesel, needs a partner.
And I think these two options are stylish, comfortable, and iconic.
My style in the fall/winter is workwear, with straight/wide fits.
What do you guys think?

I vote for the alden indy, but try to find a stockist to pick out the pair you want
assuming you're buying new
i really like the alden indy as a more casual boot and think it has a pretty unique look to it
i have 2 pairs of the comfort craftsman, they're very good.
but unfortunately pre-2020 models i think were better in quality.
but ultimately i think you're pickign between a laced boot and a chelsea and that would probably guide your decision more
they made a few changes to the material of the sole that looked like mostly cost cutting to be honest, but they framed it as being lighter.
Yeah, these are both very different styles and silhouettes
Yeah I’m comfortable with the Indy. I can make it work. But those Chelsea? Looks so cool and dainty! I’m just unsure if I have the courage for that silhouette. I guess that settles this question..
