love both of their work (ziggy + ajx) but in my experience they are very different. ziggy's has a ton of asymmetry, layered / collaged materials, unusal cuts... aviva's is much more "wearable", for lack of a better term. much closer to someone like evan kinori, i feel

He has used a small percentage of metal in some fabrics for a few years now. I recall in an interview few years ago that it helps with the structure of fabric but I'll have to dig up the interview once wayback machine is back up.
My Ziggy puffer coat has some metal in it too. You really can’t feel it. Unlike some TVA jacket I used to own to which it added some very obvious sheen and rough feel
you're totally right - had a chance to try on this jacket yesterday, which is the same material as the pants i linked above. super soft, would have no idea that metal was woven in, unless someone told me

i am surprised he's using this striped fabric again, it's a ss25 fabric. he normally doesn't do that other than the staples

i think the showroom pieces tend to be the ones i gravitate towards the most haha. i love to look at the runway stuff, but most of the time, they arent pieces that fit into my wardrobe. showroom (non-runway) pieces always seem a bit more attainable
model is from the pfw showroom, they have a model at the showroom to try on the clothes for the buyers (these pictures are from one of the chinese buyers). i'm guessing the buyers asked the model to step outside to get better light.

its pretty "normal" looking but of course it has ziggy details that are pretty cool the closer you look
which one? wish i could fit in the blazers but with most of the brand's clothes it's just too long for me; can't size down because i'm a 44

Same here I love his jackets but they’re usually too long
So I stick to coats that are supposed to be extra long anyway
this one, it fits oversized though - its actually an all-black version of the other jacket i tried on earlier in this thread (the khaki / pinstripe one)

its cool, i love the cargo pockets on the side. and its of course fully lined with the aged cotton / stripe material, so you can cuff the sleeves
i really want one of the down jackets eventually, you have a white-ish one from a few seasons back right?
yeah same i have a double breasted coat from ss22 that i love. the white down jacket looks great on you and i think that's a hard piece to pull off
cuffing the sleeves to show the stripes is always a must
