Compare the measurements of your pants to the measurements provided by the brands you're looking at online.
with the pants im having my eyes on there arent any since they are surplus
If they are not providing measurements do not buy from them
there are measurement for some of the articles just not with this perticular item
If they are not providing measurements for the item do not buy the item
Alternative email them
Measure waist and inseam of the pants that fit you. Use that as a reference point.
If size tag waist says 36, actual waist will be about 38
First half yes. Second half no. Sizing is not consistent within a given brand much less across brands.
Literally the only thing worth trusting is size charts or measurements specific to the exact garment and size of it you are looking at.
True! But that is a rule of thumb that I apply. Agree on complete lack of consistency.
Heck I have a recent uniqlo polo where the left collar is 1/2 inch shorter than the right.
How to measure the waist? If I measure my waist it’s a 110 cm around, their largest size was a 50 cm
Waist measurements are generally done with the pants laying flat, from corner to corner.
Oh, I promise I am not stupid or trolling I just never bought clothes online before
Multiply by 2
But thank you for your help
You're good man, everyone starts somewhere.
I mean I a shop you can try stuff on and if the pants are too long I just go to the Russian tailor down the street
But the specific style of pants is not available here
If you have specifics, then go made to measure. Lot of good options these days that are not too expensive.
But there are many otc brands that cater to different needs. Need to find.
Yeah I am familiar to mtm and bespoke tailoring sice I had two suits made
Which are the brands popular in germany that do mtm? Are they expensive?
I bought some shirts from van laack at my local tailor shop
They are quite expensive depending on the fabric you choose mine were about 130€ a piece
I got the bespoke suits at a recent trip to Palermo, I paid around 1100€ for both
If not I can drive 30min to Luxembourg
They have everything but it’s quite expensive
But cigarettes and gas are cheap
Luxembourg is amazing! Extremely friendly people and good food. Yes, expensive!
please stop recommending mtm to everyone, most people do not need this service and it is significantly more expensive than other options
