I don't have FactoryGame/Mods.

Where does SMM store my mods then?
Solution:
it will be fixed when the whole system is ready for release

why are you looking? if you're trying to remove them, then they're already gone

Why can't we just change the path to the game folder manually in settings of smm? I've just read on reddit, that if you remove factorygame/mods and launch the game from steam/epic fixes it And i've read that devs changed something in the game, so smm doesn't read it's first letter (D:\ , or C:) path as not capital letter (- just c:\ or d:\ though that doesn't make any difference), like it's made just to mess all up

I'm still surprised there's no alternatives to smm yet, with all the effort that has been putted on. Thanks!

there isn't much point, as they would be bound by the same limitations we face

Even if there was an alternative Mod Manager, the Loader still needs updated (SML) the tooling to create and update mods to 1.0 needs updated, and each individual mod needs rebuilt\recompiled for 1.0
