Connection error/game crashes should not make you lose rr
Title says it all, my pc is fine but this game is unoptimized. It sometimes crashes/gives connection error during agent select, and I lose 6rr every time this happens. I get 14 for a victory, so it happening twice today is just annoying.

the alternative to lose rr if you disconnect would be straight up being banned
Maybe check if the disconnect happened because of connection error or a crash, and don't punish the player if it happened bc of that
system cant differenciate between that

Console should show if a player lost connection because of an error or self disconnection

Currently, the AFK system actually makes no distinction between intentional abandonment and technical malfunctions. But there's a good reason for this - the server can only detect that someone has lost the connection and doesn't see why that happened. In that sense, you can just turn off your router or PC and it will just look like there is a power outage or game crash. We need to treat intentional and unintentional exits from matches equally, otherwise you can easily destroy matches without consequence and we both know how difficult it is to play 4v5."

That's fucked up, can't optimize their game but have given me -12rr today because of it

and had to wait 10 mins for no reason as well
Yeah I got a high end machine but crashes still happen
millions of other players have low(er) end pcs and dont crash
it is most likely an issue on your end, maybe connection/setup issues, most likely not a game issue
Idk about that man, been dealing with this since some updates ago and I just don't know how to fix it
And today the rr pentalty was more than it used to be
Not sure what I did to deserve -6rr per game
