Hey @Noel / @bsherman
Hey @Noel / @bsherman
I've sent an integration request to ublue-os-test for Fedora's Konflux instance to investigate some pipelines. Would be great if you could accept when you get a moment 🙂

ooh where at? how can I help?
we want in on konflux as much as we can
Very early days atm. I seem to have write access to their Konflux instance, so I'm trying it out

(cncf project)
where do I need to look for this request?
nothing in github?
I don't think you're part of the test org. Only Noel and Ben are owners
The investigation will be done in here - https://github.com/ublue-os-test/fedora-atomic-desktops

Have you signed in to Konflux yet? I'll add you to the test project if you share your username
no I haven't I'll be out of band until after kubecon
however, I can help by talking to the PMs etc.
Where do I check for the request @Robert (p5) ?
I'm guessing you'll have an email?
@j0rge I can add you to the test org if you want.
Approved
keycloak is best if i do auth for something mine its always keycloak
I have no time to commit to this, but you're likely more aware of how important it is that we're participating more than I am right now
So it's actually a misconfiguration that everyone has access to Konflux...
If we want to use it, we'll have to host it ourselves... Nope

Lol
Uff
surely we can ask?
From Conan Kudo:
not without some serious locking down (similar to Koji and COPR). Ideally, there should be a secondary Konflux instance for external integration, rather than mixing the two use-cases on the same system. One of the "selling points" of COPR being separate from Koji is that it's impossible for "rando content" to make it into official content sets because they are different systems.
I mean if that's the case why build a cluster?
They are wanting to move their image builds over to the Fedora Konflux instance, and start moving away from Koji
So the cluster is only for "official" builds, and for now, external projects need to build their own
They want people to start using Konflux but they don't make it easy
So there is no point for external projects to use konflux then i guess
that must be a misunderstanding on my part then, multiple people told me that we should get involved and participate more closely, but whatever, less work
