Argh! Lost all recent config thanks to migration option in 2.1.0 - any way to fix?
I did a major update of my commands and sensors last month when I upgraded to the new fork of this app. For the 2.1.0 I had the "try migrations" checked and it pulled OLD config/sensors/commands from YEARS ago back into the app, and I lost all my stuff. Do the previous config files still exist somewhere??

I just tried restoring a backup to the
%APPDATA%\LAB02 Research\HASS.Agent
location (appsettings, sensors, etc), and after restarting it STILL doesn't see the sensors in there
what is going on??first let's figure out where your hass agent actually is in case the install location changed, for me it didn't detect the correct location at one point
right click on its icon in the start menu -> open file location, it'll open a folder where there's a shortcut
right click on the shortcut, open file location, and that's where the config folder shouldb e
Once you find it, open up the config files and see if you have evertyhing you expect to ahve in there
If not, open up your backup and see if the backup has them. In that case you should be able to just drag and drop
hmm yes, i found the config dir at
C:\Users\myname\AppData\Local\HASS.Agent\Client\config
which is not where the documents said it was
thank you
too bad i already spent 2 hours recreating all my sensors 🙃
next time!
