Emails on domain yoni.systems (registered thru Apple) do not send or receive mail.

Hey dudes. I'm new here. I'm on a free account registered through Apple and having some trouble in my DNS, I can't recieve any emails, but I have no idea how to edit DNS and I'm having trouble with the community forum. Can anyone give me some info on how I could proceed getting this resolved or where I could go to get help on it? This whole process has been immensely complicated for about 20 reasons and I'm just looking for some help. Thank you! Here's... ALL the information. The domain yoni.systems was purchased by me through Apple as a custom email domain. It is my only registered domain on Cloudflare. It is registered under an email WITHIN the domain, which is [email protected]. The domain currently exists only as an email domain for the emails [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]. Here's what's going on. [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] all bounce emails. They will not send nor recieve emails from any address, nor from themselves. When testing by sending an email from [email protected] to [email protected], the iPhone's mail app shows nothing on the recieving end, but it does display a sent email in my 'sent' folder. When testing by sending an email from my personal GMAIL account [email protected] to [email protected], I recieved an 'Address Not Found' email bounce on [email protected]'s end (from Google's 'mail delivery subsystem'). Here is that error code. --- DNS Error: DNS type 'mx' lookup of yoni.systems responded with code NOERROR DNS type 'mx' lookup of yoni.systems had no relevant answers. DNS type 'aaaa' lookup of yoni.systems responded with code NOERROR DNS type 'aaaa' lookup of yoni.systems had no relevant answers. DNS type 'a' lookup of yoni.systems responded with code NOERROR DNS type 'a' lookup of yoni.systems had no relevant answers. --- I contacted Apple last month and after about an hour of problem solving on it, they said that the problem does not exist on their end, that they could do nothing to fix it, and requested that I contact Cloudflare directly. Through some extra problems in their community forum system and their support ticket system, I have resorted to the Discord. Thank you for reading. I'd like to get this resolved as soon as possible. Thank you. ***Another variable that is relevent is that, since the cloudflare domain yoni.systems is registered under the email [email protected], and [email protected] cannot recieve emails, I cannot do any sort of email processes to resolve this.

The mentioned domain name, yoni.systems, does not have any DNS record(s) related to email traffic. You will therefore need to contact your email provider, and request that they provide you with the relevant DNS record(s) you need, in order to point your domain to point towards their infrastructure.
mmmm, whatcha saaaaaayy?
Okay. The email provider I believe would be Apple, but I already spent hours on the phone with them and they said there was nothing they could do. You're saying I should contact them and get DNS records? Thank you so much, I'm willing to do that.

Thee isn't anything about believing it would be the one or the other. 1. Domain registration 2. Name server / DNS provider 3. Website hosting 4. Email hosting All those four things can be at four different places, but do also have the opportunity (... sometimes), to be in one single place.

It's so strange, I bought this domain through Apple and the first year it worked perfect. Then upon renewal it didn't work anymore and I couldn't figure out why or how to get help for months. You're the first person who's actually talked to me about it. Thank you. Yeah, this makes total sense. Got it. I thought it must be something like, 'between' Cloudflare and Apple, but I'm not so good with this stuff currently.

So if you haven't done anything to get #4 in this case, then you likely don't have any email hosting set up yet, and would therefore need to find the desired provider you want to use, and then follow their instructions accordingly. The part where you said the first year, it worked perfectly, ... that would sound strange though, as the mentioned domain name has only been registered for two months ( since 2024-08-07 ).

What happened here was it was an active and in-use domain for my emails (which were working) and then I couldn't afford renewal when it was supposed to be renewed (...February 2024, MAYBE?) So I put it off and eventually had it renewed, like, six months after my renewal was supposed to be. It renewed correctly but the email stopped working. And I only use the domain for email.

With that lack of renewal, you've lost your domain, albeit temporarily, and therefore have to start over from the beginning in every single way.

This makes sense.

Whether your email provider has kept your information and data for that long, despite the domain name being gone, would be something to talk to them about.

Well, it's all still in their systems on the front end, but not on the backend apparently.

Digging in to old emails or so, to figure out how it was previously set up, and contact the given provider you had back then.

I'm going to get with Apple and discuss with them again in light of the new information you've given me. I think I will likely, since the Cloudflare portion of yoni.systems is active and renewed, wipe the emails and domain from my Apple account and then reintroduce yoni.systems to my Apple account as a domain I've already purchased. Thank you for your time, I'll go do that now, trying to work it out with Apple. I may be back. WE GOT IT!!!! THANKS MAN!!!!
