Any plans to add Ubuntu 24.04 LTS container support soon?
Hello, it is me again. I gave the blendOS another chance since V3, struggled a bit, then finally managed to install it on my predefined lvm partitions. I am lovin' it! However, I am curious about if there are any plans to support Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (24.04.1 as now) containers, or are there any way to manually implement it? Thanks for your time and inputs!

Is it stable yet
in a similar note, there isn't fedora 40 container support yet either; 41 is almost out (~1 month), and 39 is nearly at its EOL (~1.5 months)
damn :(
also
blend
is on github not gitlab so I can't manage it
if you want to add a new container you edit thatGitHub

should be as simple as adding a new entry to the distro map
and editing this file (as well as
blend
, where the distro map is) https://github.com/blend-os/blend/blob/main/blend-settings/src/pages/containers.htmlGitHub

the names there are converted to lowercase and spaces are replaced with hyphens to form a distro ID
Oh thanks, seems really easy. Will try and let you know

One last question, where can I find the files that needs to be edited in my installation? As it is immutable, I suppose that I need to chroot from the live installation medium
I meant in the repo
You have to ensure the PR is merged and the repo is updated
