Bonobos in-store fitting experience?
I plan on making a 30-minute appointment with them soon at one of their physical stores specifically for chinos, as my other chinos are either too skinny (Jcrew) or too baggy (goodfellow). I hope to get the right fit/tailoring and was wondering how the overall experience was you all?

my one and only instance was when they first started (before being bought out by Walmart) and it was largely positive
took a while to get sizing downpat but they were patient in giving options and whatnot
i think they are overpriced personally but if you find they're a perfect fit have at it 👍
(out of curiosity though which chinos at j.crew did you try? the classic fit was a pretty full cut while the 770 is a decent straight fit)
I got two pairs of chinos and some shorts after a fitting a few months ago. All fit well. They can pretty quickly, and all seemed worth the price, pretty well made.
I see thank you for sharing!
I tried their slim and straight fits (they're the only ones available at the two Jcrew near me), but they all are super tight. I have a lean muscular build fwiw
I see, thank you for sharing 🙏
Which brands do you buy from for your chinos?
my "basic" chinos are old polo ralph lauren, either the andrew (pleated) or philip (not pleated). plenty on ebay, usually $20-30 a pair if not less
uniqlo and bronson mfg are both good budget options, jack donnelly and casatlantic are great if you're willing to spend more per pair
