Could just be the lighting in this photo, but what would you describe this shirt material as? Sorta seems like a matte color but with highlights. Doesn’t seem like standard cotton?

Ah ok. No it’s not my shirt. Just happened to find it on social media. I will look into washed cotton shirts. Also, any recommendations for washed cotton shirt brands would be appreciated.
washed or garment dyed or overdyed. They all kinda look like this. Uniqlo, a&f, h&m, etc
Looks like a cotton-poly knitted in jersey weave. All the colors are because of the lighting and also some patina.
