Dress/Coloured socks for those who sweat a lot

I've struggled for years to find nice socks that don't get sweaty by lunch time but eventually ended up giving up and just wearing athletic socks (Puma Repreve from Costco... I did say I gave up.) Has anyone else gone through this and found a viable + stylish solution? I've tried various brands/fabrics including some with bamboo and even copper, without much luck. Cushioned sole seems to help, if just for the extra absorbency. Thanks!

I have some Brisciani socks made in linen and also some made in merino. I tend to prefer these when its warm, compared to the cotton socks. Sweating may also be because of the shoes. You may want to try Geox shoes that have a breathable sole.

Thanks for the reply @Nomnom 🙏I've never heard of linen socks before, interesting! It's certainly a preferred fabric for shirts/pants already, so I'll check those out, thanks. Was doing a little research too and Merino wool came highly recommended, though I'm concerned about warm days. Smartwool and Outway seem to be well regarded, so I'll likely order a couple test pair from them. Shoes have definitely been a factor. I avoid ones that don't have some breathability and Adidas Ultraboost are my go-to's thanks to the mesh top. I'd like to wear some of the leather business/sneaker style like Cole Haan makes, but immediately feel like I'm walking in a swamp. Florsheim have been good on the business style, decently breathable. I'll see what Geox has to offer as well, cheers.

Merino is usually not a bother on warm days. But each of us are different. Never tried smartwool or outway. I have Pantharella, Brisciani and Falke. Falke being least favorite. If trying business shoes, you can go for the ones with a leather sole and cork filled. They wear cooler. Wishing you luck!

Availability is a bit different in Canada it seems. I looked up Brisciani and ordered a few that seemed comparable in terms of material composition etc. without getting hit by massive import fees. If they work, great. If not, it's a step in the right direction and I'll try shelling out the extra $$$ for some nice EU pairs or snag them next time we visit! Thanks for the tips on the shoes. I wasn't aware of the benefits of leather & cork, but it makes sense. Cheers & thanks again!
