Jacket too boxy
Jacket is wiiiiide in the shoulders, just about okay over the bust, and long in the arms but my arms are short so that's par for the course. I'm not sure about how easy it would be to adjust something like the shoulder width and depth of the arm scye. Any ideas on what I can do, or just give up on the jacket and let it find a better, shoulderier home?

I'm a fan of the big shoulders tbh. Sleeves do need shortened, should be a quick fix
My sense is that it would require significant work to alter the fit of the shoulder, we’re talking drafting a new pattern essentially, plus if there’s a liner it might not even be totally possible to disconstruct and rebuild properly. It could work to shorten the sleeves and reattach the cuff and go for a drop shoulder fit, but i dunno if i’m totally convinced the effect would work judging from these pics. Just my two cents!
Thanks guys. I'm going to take it to a seamstress friend who works in alterations at the dept store and see what she reckons.
