Denim recommendation - relaxed straight fit
I have some great jeans I wear more casually (this style) but I'm looking for a pair that's a bit more elegant looking and dressier. Nothing slubby or neppy, nothing too heritage inspired, but a nice slightly relaxed straight fit that I could in theory wear with a blazer as well. Would prefer a darker wash and solid color but doesn't need to be "raw" proper. Selvedge is cool but not necessary.
I definitely like a natural to higher rise denim, looser in the top block, but could either do straight all the way down or even a slight taper. I'm graduating from informale je19s which are perfect in many ways but a bit too tapered for my preferences now.
I was looking at orslow 100 and 101s, but stock is an issue and I haven't been able to try them on in person yet.
Ideal budget is less than $300 but can flex for the right pair.
Any recommendations?

My mind went to straight to these that Ethan posted in #waywt the other day: https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1290788223265542144/1290802130592206869
Good rec, thank you!
I actually really like the fit of the uniqlo wide leg (I have the newer beige uniqlo U ones, which are virtually the same cut) - so that is a good indicator for me. Thank you
I don't think my photo attached to my post (I'm new here and shit at discording) - these are what I wear casually. This is just the brand's stock photo
I usually skew a bit more towards brands like Rubato, Informale, Drakes, Boglioli for work life and Lemaire, Auralee, and more indie brands for casual

These look great. Fit on these from the hips down is ideal to me. I think I want slightly more fitted by the waist but probably more of a question of sizing and getting tailored adjustments than the pants themselves
Look around, Denimio had some trophy stuff in stock not long ago. That was just the first site I found so you could see then
Makes sense and good call. I'll look for some more fit photos. Thanks for the rec!
Orslow EK collab could fit the bill as well pls hold

I love the fit on these, love EK and Orslow, and would wear these casually if I needed another pair of jeans. Maybe not the fit I'm looking for though for this pair - I didn't specify this in my post very well, but I'm looking for a pair I could wear to corporate events as well with a shirt tucked in and MAYBE even a blazer.
Could totally be done with those jeans, but probably not with the shirts and blazers I usually wear for work which are more standardly proportioned ("straight"-ish)
To my eye these only feel a notch more casual than the ones pictured here, but heard! Our companies must have different levels of formality :)
The actual denim material is perfect, but I think the part that's tougher from me is the drape from knee down and leg opening. I think they look great but just deviate a bit more from the norm of what my coworkers and clients wear
I have to be a bit of a chameleon in my work sometimes which means walking the tightrope of clothes that I like that somewhat conform to company culture
I appreciate the rec, they are definitely great looking pants and will be on my radar regardless for whenever I may need yet another pair of jeans
