internet speeds
Hi I’m new to Bazzite absolutely love the whole thing,top notch no os issues what so ever BUT my problem is my location and my internet. entire country has shady isp and I’m getting my Ethernet from one of em that has artificial caps on different sites or servers however this isp has been very favourable to steam cuz on steam I’m always getting 100mbps/10MBps which is the max for my pc motherboard network.
Problem is when i download on steam from Bazzite that speed is capped at 9.8mbps resulting in 30gb games taking a whole 24hrs to download.
I wanna know how networking aka network speeds work in Bazzite if there any settings i need to change if there’s any options before installing
Really anything to get the speeds i get on windows

A few things to try:
* Try a different download region in Steam settings
* Disable IPv6, sometimes people get much faster speeds after disabling it (I cannot reproduce this)
* Try turn off http2 support in steam, instructions here https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/16e1l4h/slow_steam_downloads_try_this/
Tried changing region to match my pc settings which is central china
On pc central china gives full 10MBps and other servers gives various speeds but central china is 10MBps solid
The other two options I’ll try after i finish reinstalling Bazzite

Update: Fixed it by disabling download throttle within steam settings
