anything wrong whit these?
i can't get a tty no matter what
I can't see your EFI partition. Do you have CMS/Legacy boot enabled in the BIOS? Although that shouldn't give you just a blinking cursor. What ISO image did you use and what hardware are you using?
I think I have identified the issue
I have an asus rog gl752vw
I see the m2 drive in boot options, but in bios when i try to manually add a boot option i cant navigate it's file system
I have 6 options (5 for the windows drive with its partitions and 1 for a storage device)
I cant see the other 3 (from the pic)
Yeah your bios is probably looking for EFI partitions and Bazzite is installed with CSM/Legacy boot and using an MBR partition table so it finds nothing. I usually install with Ventoy and I force the partition table to GPT so it's impossible to accidently do a legacy boot
Oh great
Yeah, it defaults to mbr for nvme for sone reason, ill make it gpt
Thanks for the help 👍
Well, still not working
Ok, so im reinstalling again with efi and gpt, i think i messed up last time, if this wont work then my sandwich maker will stay on windows until ill upgrade
Got it to work, i think i messed up a flag (or forgot it) when manually setting up the partitions
Cool is it booting now? No black screen?
