High Latency issue ,cloudflare wrong routing

I'm facing an issue where my Cloudflare website is being routed through Amsterdam (AMS) instead of India, leading to high latency, which is negatively affecting the website's performance. Does anyone know what the issue might be?

There's a lot of threads on the community forums about this. TLDR being something like Indian ISPs want Cloudflare to pay for peering/to transit directly and when they don't they route over cheaper/further routes. Cloudflare's free plan is made possible by settlement free (free for both sides) peering, hard when one isp wants to be greedy. I believe Cloudflare does pay their fee/have better routing on Pro/Biz. You can check https://cloudflare.manfredi.io/en/tools/datacenters/ and https://debug.chaika.me/?findColo=true and see where you get routed depending on plan
