Wedding Fit Check
Dress code is “casual cocktail” (whatever that means) but knowing the bride and groom it’s going to lean heavier on the casual side. The request from the bride was “fall colors”
Trying to decide between grey pants and black pants. I’m leaning grey since the texture/tone is different enough from the jacket to have nice contrast, while the black makes the bottom block too heavy. I do like fit (higher rise) of the black pants a bit better though.
Shirt: Charles Tyrwitt OCBD
Jacket: Faherty knit
Shoes: RM Williams Chelsea boots
Watch: Casio Duro
Black pants: Outlier Futureworks
Grey Pants: Banana republic chinos

I think black pants works best here, it's a good look tbh!
the fit with the grey tros just doesn't work at all imo
Any particular reason you don’t like the grey? I thought it looked alright tbh
Looks too close in shade to the jacket without being a suit imo
there's that
but something about them being a shade lighter than the jacket cs a shade darker feels off
like if the pants were a charcoal or choco brown it'd be doable
the faded color just feels really washed out
