VS hangs while typing
Curious if you guys had any ideas
My machine at work is running VS
When I type in the code editor, it's often several seconds before the editor catches up to what I typed and several seconds again before I get suggestions or the intellisense browser.
I've watched memory and cpu usage and I'm seeing neither noticeable spikes nor is either utilization at 100%.
Where should I look to diagnose the lag?

i dont know how to diagnose it properly but i would first try to disable extensions and if you have any sourcegenerators try to temporarly remove them
I have neither
in worst case you could attach another vs instance and profile it from there
what does network usage look like when it lags? I remember a while back having to add some things to my firewall whitelist to clear up typing delay. Can't remember exactly what or why though, sorry.
