HDMI doesn’t work on specific monitors nvidia.

I have an Acer Nitro monitor which I usually connect my laptop to. However, since I’ve come back to Linux, it’s not worked over HDMI. When I connect the HDMI to my TV (some old 1080p LG) it works completely fine. Unfortunately, I don’t have many settings to change on my monitor, so can’t set hdmi compatibility mode which has worked for some users on Reddit. If it helps, my laptop has two GPU’s (one integrated - AMD Renoir connected to the display, and one dedicated- RTX 3060 only connects to HDMI).

I’ve tried multiple things, and the fix seems to be set to a non 16:9 resolution (1280 x 720 didn’t work but 1280 x 800 did) and then switching to 1080p and lowering the refresh rate to one of the decimal place ones (for some reason 60, 120, 144, 165 hz didn’t work but 119.x did) I’ll mark it as solved
