Zero Trust Tunnels HTTPS & SSL Certificates for Local HTTP Webserver

I have a cloudflared daemon running that connects a self-hosted service I have running a raspberry pi to cloudflare. I have a domain assoicated with the Zero Trust tunnel. When the domain routes me to my local service the scheme changes from https to http. Is the tunnel still secure and is encryption in effect? Or do I need an SSL certificate for my local service? My tunnel connects with NextCloud via CasaOS.
