White based sneaker advice for a first timer

Hi all, I'm thinking to buy my first pair of proper sneakers for casual use as part of my wardrobe overhaul process. I've been using running shoes all these years (like NB 880v12) but a lot of friends suggested I get a proper sneaker and not running shoes. I did try loafers as well and I liked them, so I'd order them later as well. I was looking to have a good bit of it in white/similar color as both my other running shoes are in black and I was told whites go well with a lot of clothing, is this true? For sneakers, nike does have their official stores here in India and the air force 1 felt most comfortable to me (similar cushiony feel to my running shoes) 1) Should I just get this air force 1 or is there some other brand I should also look into? (adidas sambas and asics felt sort of crampy and so did dunks, air force series felt comfy) I just have 2 pairs of shoes at present (both running - one for daily use, one for gym) 2) Would this color scheme be versatile for general purpose use for casual events? White vs Pale Bone also felt confusing to me 3) The only pants I have are blue and black jeans and a beige trouser (example of my beige pant attached to this post as I had gone to a local Nike to try on for comfort and only their air force series had the cushion similar to running shoes) I do like browns/whites and blacks so I was thinking around these colors but if you have any other suggestions, please let me know. The usecase would be casual outings with friends or to office i.e. not something flashy 4) My running shoes are size 9.5 2E, the one I tried in store was size 9, it did fit me but unsure if I should order 9.5, the stores here don't have 0.5 increments Thanks in advance for any advice!

Note: Besides the first image, the other two nike images are custom via their site's 'By You' option so I can tweak the colors as recommended here

in a broad, general answer, white AF1s and white sneakers can be versatile. lots of people ask this so it's worth searching for "white sneakers in:questions-and-advice" for brand reqs and more detail as it may answer some of the other questions on their versatility, it depends on what kind of clothes (style, not just colors) you typically wear or want to wear pictures help with this, if you need reference pictures check #waywt or #inspiration or instagram/social media also for shoe sizing, especially nikes, go off how the individual shoe feels because their runners and "lifestyle" shoes often are different in my experience

got it, thanks - I'll take a look into the inspiration and previous convos around this and loafers as well (was thinking of going into the old money aesthetic as well)

Fellow indian here. Stans and AF1s both have their merit Stans are cheap af right now . I have a pair and they're really comfortable. Personal opinion is that Stans are more versatile and would go better with those beige pants. AF1s are slightly more streetwear type. Also consider club C65 vintage and if you're feeling adventurous, Onitsuka Mexico 66 .
