Hello :AFoxy_Wave:
May I ask a few questions:
What country do you live in?
What region do you play on?
What are you preferred server(s) to play on?
What is your ISP?
Germany, Asia, Mumbai (anything in Asia TBH, but Mumbai was my lowest at 150ms prior to the latency spikes, ISP : MDCC, Germany
there!
Yeah nothing can be done
Do you have any problems to your local server?
@scrub7
why do you play on Mumbai
??
or Asia region I mean
well the ping used to be 150, now it's at 220, can't it be brought back to the old ping?
been on that since the start of the game, so my friends play there and I like playing with em
No, unless you have a ping incruse on your local servers to (frankfurt)
hi Lyra
Hihi
Wanna explain the issue?
/what has happend
what was the reason the ping rose ?
around 3 months ago it was 150, so why the sudden rise ever since
probably the route changed
right...no hopes of getting the old route back then?
you can try contacting your isp but probably not
you can also try this
dang
that sucks

Is this like exit lag?
might help might not
kinda off
okay thanks
is your ping normal on eu?
should be, don't really play on it
mind checking rq?
it all started when the Mumbai high ping issue started for people like 3-4 months ago
okay
I guessing routing
if the ping to eu is normal then there is nothing we can do
yea it is
aight
it just all changed during that high ping issue in Mumbai, and I was told some routing there caused the issue? and alot of people who played outside of India faced it..
don't think it's specific to my ISP
Riot has something called Riot Direct which is basically a thing that helps ISPs provide the best route to Riots servers however it does not support cross region, so as soon as you start to playing on another region you leave all your trust in your the communication between different ISPs to figure out the best route for your packet which is sketchy.
instead of being computer -> Riot Direct -> Riot servers
it has now become
computer -> your ISP -> random ISP -> random ISP 2 -> Riot servers
if I remember correctly
Welp thanks for letting me know
:kaisaShrug:
no way to like trace the old route right? and see what changed
well we can trace the current one ish
but yeah no
honestly there is nothing you can do to fix this
best bet is using 1.1.1.1 warp and exitlag or sum like tha
alright, good to know, that's unfortunate, thanks though just wish things didn't change ://
