Looking for a brand name
I've had this suede(i think?) jacket for a little over a year now, purchased at a thrift store in Toronto. Just wondering if anyone knows this brand, I've spent a long time looking but have never found anything.

There are tons of these now defunct brands that existed before the internet. It's relatively unlikely many people know much, most of the better known stuff is relatively well documented (though even some of that is sketchy at best).
That's unfortunate, but understandable. I might ask around at some local vintage stores for information as well
You can occasionally figure a little out from care labels etc. eg. Country of origin might date something, dry clean labels appear in the 70s for the most part, are there EU symbols.
Unfortunately there are no care tags of any kind. I'm going to bring it by a few local vintage shops to see if they have any information but I don't have my hopes up.
very unlikely they‘ll know anything about that brand! sometimes google lenses can help you find other items by the same brand online.
I understand you, though. One of my favourite woollen tweed overshirts is also by an obscure and defunct brand, and I wish I'd known more about it.
