first time buying cargo pants and looser fitting tshirts, how well do they fit me?
This was my first time ever ordering cargo pants and looser fitting shirts. I came from skinny jeans and slim fit tshirts so these cargo pants look REALLY BAGGY to me. Is this how they’re supposed to fit? Also, do they look long? When I’m wearing them without shoes, they almost touch the floor and I feel like they sit awkwardly with shoes on. I did order my normal size. What do y’all think?

tough to tell the specifics with the upwads angle, but overall looks good!
they look fine; in some of the pics your hands in your pockets might affect things
it takes time to get used to width - i wore mostly slim fit stuff until the start of this year (check my post history in #waywt from january/february lol) - but the more often i wore it the easier it got
Just checked it out, I could see that your style has evolved. I’m hoping I can do something similar lol. Definitely will take time to get used to, but I think I’m already starting to like them over skinny jeans
the pant shoe interaction looks fine to me. its close enough where you could just wear them higher/lower on your waist to get the effect you want
Yeah that’s fine, I really like when baggy cargos do a full break on the shoes and wear them the same way :)
Big pants good also don’t go by “normal size,” go off the measurements if available / how they fit on your body if not
I’m a 30x30 and bought a 31x30 and it felt long but I guess that’s how it’s supposed to sit
part of that might be due to the rise. a lot of the skinny and slim fit jeans of the 2010s were meant to sit near the hips and if you're wearing a mid or high rise at that same point there might be some pooling or dragging despite the inseam being 'right'
