Server shows as Vanilla
Im trying to make a DBC server for my brother and the mods are all installed. I used the Forge jar to install everything but it keeps showing as a vanilla server... I need help urgently as this server needs to be ready in 12 hours

Its for 1.7.10 and all i can seem to do is join yet the DBC mod isnt working. Im getting a gui that reads something along the lines of "if data does not load, server mods not installed correctly"
ive followed these from years ago too
Also i need to rename one of these jar files to "Server.jar" but i read that doing this also creates the error
but one of them HAS to be changed
ive tried all 3 but the only one that actually runs the server is supposedly not allowed to be changed
ive been trying since 5pm

so it shouldnt start as a vanilla server now?
it shouldn't assuming you use the right jarfile
ill try the jarfile again but i swear i use the right one
ill try from the beginning
send server logs + show what jarfile you renamed
i renamed the minecraft_server file
you should have renamed the forge-stuffhere-universal.jar

the minecraft_server-1.7.10.jar is vanilla (keep it, forge hooks into it)

and rename the forge universal jar to whatever it wants
the server stops its self
