does this outfit work?
New to baggy clothes and not good fashion wise at all so need tips. Forgot to button up the sleeves in the pic also

i have thoughts but how do you feel, especially about the fit of the clothes?
short answer it works, long answer the sleeves are probably too long on the jacket and different shoes would be better
I feel alright tbh, I like the look it gives front on but from the side on it’s not the most aesthetic
Would the jacket work if I added a hoodie underneath? I’ve got brown boots in my wardrobe, would they suit this look?
It is impossible to answer that without seeing the items or preferably the items on you with the rest of the fit
a pic of what you consider "not aesthetic" would help here imo

there's often gonna be a disconnect when comparing a two dimensional picture to the three dimensional space your body/clothes inhabit, plus we tend to be harder on ourselves than other people
imo it's a basic serviceable fit though the jacket sleeves are a little long. a hoodie/boots strikes me as a cool weather variation on a similar theme but it might yield a better fit (pics would help here as well)
I decided to go for size L instead of my usual size M so that’s probably why the sleeves look long.
I’ll send some pictures later on to compare between and see what’s best
Tagged sizes aren’t really reliable, I wear anything from an M to a XXL or XXXL depending on the brand
size down the jacket and i think light shoes would work better

Hope you don’t cringe, this is all I could put together in my limited wardrobe. The hoodie and jacket combo didn’t look too good so I think I’ll stick to one of those shirts

I think you might be feeling a bit self conscious about the fit being looser than you're used to, but nothing here is remotely "baggy" so don't sweat it too much.
