GPU load/temp not showing
Hi, ive a weird issue : new pc and fresh Windows install, everything was working great.
For some reasons related to EXPO ive réinstalled a fresh Windows.
So now, GPU Tweak see data of the GPU, ADIA64 also, but not Hass.Agent (every of the mentionned programs are closed when i try).
I’m not sure where to look for ..
For référence my pc :
Ryzen 5 7600x
32Giga DDR5
Dual-Asus RTX3060ti
Windows 11 pro

Even wierder :
If I open HWMonitor, Hass.Agent see and sends data. As soon as I’m closing HWMonitor no updates anymore. I don’t know where to check so didn’t touched anything 😅
I've tried disabling CPU integrated graphics, no change. Temp and usage show on taskmanager but still not into hass.agent
that is actually wierd
are you using the build in GPU sensors or some custom WMI ones?
I’m using build in sensors
Did you fix this?
Hey, unfortunately no, last time i tried it wasn’t working
does hwmonitor use lhm?
i dont see how else they could be related
Librehardwaremonitor (lhm) is a program that you can run but they also offer a nuget as a library to be used with other programs (like hass.agent)
We're using the library for some stuff
yeah but does hwmonitor use libre?
i can't see why else they would be related
Hm
What "hwmonitor" are you referencing
I know openhardwaremonitor and it's newer fork librehardwarwmonitor
idk @Fl0r1an73 by hwmonitor do you mean the cpuid app?
got a link?
Yes, this one : https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html
HWMONITOR | Softwares | CPUID
HWMonitor for Windows® x86/x64 is a hardware monitoring program that reads PC systems main health sensors : voltages, temperatures, powers, currents, fans speed, utilizations, clock speeds ...
The program handles :
CPU and GPU-level hardware monitoring LPCIO chips with monitoring features...
CPU and GPU-level hardware monitoring LPCIO chips with monitoring features...
Yeah different backend, meaning only connection between hass.agent and hwmonitor is that they both get device statistics?
Hwmonitor has the stats but Hass.agent doesn’t
Windows is up to date, GPU is up to date
is it possible the hwmonitor was set to always run in background before you reinstalled the OS?
if it's (fully) closed it won't be able to prodvide data to WMI
Not that im aware of, at least didnt set it up like that. Im going to Check that this evening
