i duo with my friend who is gold 3 but he hasnt palyed for a few games
and i was gaining
until i ranked up
they werent even super low ranks
i should have gotten more than 11
Honestly my best assumption is its an outlier. Not the answer youre looking for i know. However i looked at my past games and i had one game where i gained +12 rr however next game was +24. Could be an error in calculation but unsure.

Im presuming that your MMR was significantly higher than the rest of the lobby hence less RR gained. Next ranked game should be a more balanced MMR setting so upon victory should yield a higher RR gain. For more clarification

Unfortunately there isn’t anything to be done. Winning consistently is the best way to gain RR. If youre hardstuck then running a five man that can communicate definitely helps.

Good deal. Sometimes RR gain will have an outlier (such as the +11) but its nothing to fret about.
