currently i tried
gradel v8: java 20
7:java20
6.22 java20
6.22 java11
none of these worked ._.

I would try Java 17 for that.
found onlione that its mostly a compatibility issue

there's a compatibility table here: https://docs.gradle.org/current/userguide/compatibility.html
Judging from the readme, that project seems to want you to use Java 8:
The Sun Java 1.8 runtime is required.but later versions may still work
