Wemod
Hello, I am working on setting up Wemod for single player games. One big reason is my save in Dragon's Dogma 2 is gone. I had completed the game but the save was deleted, I am assuming one of my kiddos might have accidentally deleted it. Anyways, I am trying to run Wemod to kind power through the game again but it keeps freezing when launched. I used This tutorial (https://github.com/DaniAsh551/wemod-launcher/wiki/Full-Guide) to set it up but I skipped the Flatpack steps as I only saw Steamlink listed as a Flatpack application. Is there any guidance on getting this to work or any suggestions on another more compatible application?

use steamtinkerlaunch
I tried that as well with no luck unfortunately.
I successfully installed WeMod and tested it with No Man's Sky. Had to copy and paste username + password but otherwise no issues
It keeps freezing when it launches for me.
When you say you had to copy the username and password what do you mean?
It would not allow manual typing on keyboard so just had to copy from password manager
Oh I see.
When you say it was not allowing you to manually type I was able to type a few times but then it freezes like it is not working at all. The mouse does not reognie the input boxes either for me.
How did you do the install? Was it with the guide I used in the link?
Yes. Followed the guide and made sure to use winetricks
Did it freeze for you when the game loaded up?
No it didn’t
I see, I am a bit of a noob. Did you follow the flatpack steps in 3.5?
no I skipped Flatpak since steam is native
are you making sure you select winetricks when you run the wemod-launcher?
Yes, I did. I tried multiple routes when setting up the launcher. Best I got was the launcher freezing after launch. Once I was able to input the username and password quickly but then it froze after hitting the main screen.
This might be a silly question, but could I simply be missing packages based on my hardware. Like the default packages based on my selection might be lacking?
