Bazzite/plasma crashing shortly after logging in
Lately my desktop hasn't been very stable and every other time I've booted my device, my desktop would crash inexplicably.
This is both really annoying and concerning and any help would be greatly appreciated

I've been having this issue (albeit differently) today as well on Wayland. Are you also on Nvidia?
I see that you are on X11, assuming NVidia image. Do you get the same crash in Wayland?
I get a similar crash on wayland too, if not getting stuck in a black screen as soon as I log in
Yeah, I have a 4070 Super
KDE isn't fixing any X11 issues anymore. So it might be worth giving Gnome a go, apparently it works a bit better with Nvidia than KDE
well that explains it, might as well gives that a go then
btw is there a command or anything to install Gnome or do i have to reinstall the whole OS for that?
reinstall is the supported way, you can rebase but it will introduce another whole lot of problem
That's a shame, I would have preferred rebasing but if it's the only way to switch without long term problems then so be it

Im getting the same issue. Black screen after logn to plasma. If I wait about 4 minutes it eventually starts.
