libgcc error on Homebrew installed apps

Just started getting this today when I try to launch many of my Homebrew installed apps:

error while loading shared libraries: libgcc_s.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

error while loading shared libraries: libgcc_s.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

This is happening with eza, bat, and neovim among the apps I've tried so far.

Solution:

Was able to fix by running brew install gcc. Not clear why this was working and suddenly stopped, but it seems to work now.
