Have you done any speedtests or prior troubeshooting till now? If you havent done anything to check how high your packet loss is try to use the cloudflare speedtest. And ofcourse have you tried turning your devices off and on again?

There should be a device you get your internet from to your computer. Turning it off and on again. If you are not sure what it exactly is you could ask people you live with for help with the device!

They look perfectly fine! Your upload and download speeds are good without any packet loss. Your ping might be at the higher end but I would not be worried about it!

off topic but i have something in my room that is like a white cyllindar that has a light thats either green, orange or red and its green when wifi is good, red when bad but it doesnt seem to affect my wifi if i plug it out. Its probably something super simple but can u tell me what it is i am really bad with technology stuff im pretty sure its a router but idk' @Hobo

It is most likely the device we are talking about! If you look at the back of it what kind of ports and how many do you see? Oh I also completely missed it, you are using Wifi for your computer correct?

If it is possible for you I would recommend to first try out using a wired connection!

Your computer should have a similar port as the device you sent a picture of Assuming that device gets internet you should be able to just plug your computer into that :D

Using wired connection is usually better especially for gaming and Id prioritize using it if possible! It could also be caused by too many people using the internet at the same time. There are more complex reasons for it but its better to start out by ruling the easy once!

Unfortunately I can't use wired internet

In that case since unplugging the device in your room doesnt cut your internet Id ask someone who lives with you where the Wifi comes and to restart that device!

Ok Why does packet loss happen I have good ping And good internet

There are many reasons that could be causing it. Your modem could be having its own issues like overload of cached data which restarting will clear There could be many people using the internet at the same time. Maybe issues at your service providers end that you cant do anything about.

Is small packet loss normal My friend came over last weekend and the packet loss was way more like it was almost unplayable because of the teleportation So it might be too much people But there's normally 3 people on the internet

Sounds like it might be too many people. Having some packet loss at time can happen for various reasons.

Any chance they are watching videos or movie at the same time? or just constantly using them

I'm pretty sure one uses mobile data But I'm not sure The other is always on their phone so it could be them They watch Netflix often

That could be it. Currently it sounds like it might just be many people using the internet at the same time. You could try and see if its still happening when no one is home. If the issue goes away then its likely to be that
