Gnome Audio Issues

I'm having some really weird audio issues but I don't think it's bazzite specific, when I play videos the audio and video takes about 5 seconds to play. Also when using a keybind to mute and unmute my mic it starts to get frozen and delayed. I'm using gnome this has only started happening recently. I rebased to a month old build but the issue is still present. I tried some other distros like cachyos and the bug is there aswell. On Ubuntu 24.04 everything is fine but then I tried the daily build of 24.10 and the bug is there. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Is it gnome specific or a pipewire issue?

It was an issue with wireplumber. I switched to cachyos so I could try the pipewire-media-session and it fixed it @Kyle Gospo Do you know if I could layer the pipewire-media-session package? Will it remove wireplumber? Or will it just not work

you'd have to make a custom image, fedora uses wireplumber and not the media-session SteamOS also uses wireplumber

Is there documentation on how to do this

Thanks @Kyle Gospo I just made the custom image and it's now working great. What about updates? Will my repo auto build when new updates get released? Not too sure how it works

if your github repo has a scheduled build workflow then it will update whenever it successfully builds on that schedule bazzite updates --> your custom image workflow pulls in the image through a scheduled build and applies your changes --> you get the update through your image registry (using the built in updater, or auto update on desktop images)
