ROG Ally X lower performance when plugged in
hello when i tried to benchmark cyberpunk 2077 there is something weird going on, when unplugged i can get to high 50 fps but when plugged in i had low 50, is there something wrong with my setting? i attached the benchmark results and epp setting and my tdp set to 17w via steam setting not hhd

rn I'll try to disable tdp control via steam and try to set it via hhd
well the results kinda same but i get higher performance than before but still behind when unplugging

the boost on turbo is 43W
and your benchmark runs before the turbo ends
well i thought that it was disabled when i unchecked tdp boost, because on windows i can set sppt and fppt to be same as spl
when you use the presets its not disabled
ah for reference I'm using custom tdp set to 17w, not using performance mode
and i set the tdp boost to disabled

theres a bug we are looking into right now
that causes a bit worse performance on battery
that's funny because i get better performance when on battery than charging
so that's why this word confused me
