DaVinci resolve black video preview on timeline
I just successfully install DaVinci resolve in a container with the ujust install resolve and a few tweeks to use my descrete nvidia gpu. The problem i am facing now is that the video preview is always black. Cut, edit, color, media... the video preview is black. On the internet i found many people with the same problem but i hasn't found a solution that worked for me. Any suggestions? I am using DaVinci resolve studio 19 on distrobox.

Seems related with resolve not using H.264/H.265 codecs in the free version

You can:
* Convert from MP4 to other format that doesn't use h.264/h.265 codec
* Use the Studio version (though, requires buying a license)
And no, sadly we cannot simply install a dependency and done, this is something only Blackmagic team can fix, and most likely won't ever due commercial licencing
My fault. I use the studio version. I forgot to mention it. Its DaVinci resolve studio 19 as it seems on the screenshot
this is not bazzite's problem i am abusing the space maybe some other user has some new solution to suggest.
