Is it possible to get Short Term Disability from one of my Js while continuing to work another J, or will the insurance company not like this and come after me?

I'm honestly kind of burnt out. I was going to quit my J1 due to burn out and wanting to explore some side hustles, but I'm wondering if I can get short term disability while continuing to work my J2? I'm not even sure how to go about doing this if possible. I assume I'd need a doctor's note

You need to check your policy if it allows you to work "any occupation" while collecting benefits Cause many will provide 60-70% of pay based on your income at the time

The issue with this will likely be your ability to work. If you could work for J2, then how could you not work for J1? That's what insurance will be asking. And yes, for STD (and FMLA if you only went that route), you will need forms filled out by your provider

If you claim to be too disabled to work at one job but then work at another identical job and the insurance company finds out then yes, they will come after you.
