proxy server network

Hello i am trying to set up a lobby for my survival server that im building. So i want a lobby server and a survival server but how many splits do i need for that and how much of my ram and cpu should i give to the other servers?

this is what the youtube tutorial im following does (the test server is the proxy server) my server has 8gb of ram btw and 400% cpu

why you need proxy in particular? if you onlu want to have a survival server and thats it (no plan for expanding your server for other gamemode in the future) just use standalone because of ram ure having are kinda small

See, if its only for survival i would recommend just make paper/other forked single server with your 8 gb ram.. And if you really wanna make a network then you can follow like : - proxy (use velocity) : 512mb-1gb ram, 100% cpu, 2-3 gb storage. - Lobby : 2-2.5gb ram, 100% (don't use much plugins) - survival: rest of remaining ram and cpu. Still I'll recommend configure one single server as survival as you have less ram.

alr ill keep it as a single server with a proxy but without a hub for developement and once i open i might buy more ram and make it a network
