AC circuit

If R, L and C are in series with an ac source, suppose for an instant, current is passing through the inductor, so can we say for that instant it's a purely inductive ac circuit?

SIMPle Potato is right You can't do this, there isn't a instance when circuit is purely inductive or capcitive it's on the initial state, if no capacitance, purely inductive, and if no inductance, purely capcitive
