Will mods disable achievements?
I get that mods aren't ready for 1.0 yet, but when we get there, will they cut off unlocking achievements in for example Steam?

mods will never disable archievments its the same when you use a trainer or something. The only thing what Disable the Archievments is the Game when you turn on the other game options. But when you do this the game is warning you.
about that, it's so absurd that "disable arachnid creatures" option is under AGS if they're gonna disable achievements. I can set EVERY living thing in the world to just chill around and get achievements, but can't get achievements if I just want to get around my mental problem. (yes I know about the phobia mode setting but it's SO absurd and low quality it just reminds you of their real form.)
hope there'll be a mod to "not disable achievements with AGS on" or just an updated "no spiders" mod that doesn't disable achievements!
have you tried aracnaphopia mode in options as an alternatibve?

thing is that, you can't unsee and forget what you experienced in your first U6 playthrough with that setting not being available yet. then it was implemented but not the meow sound at first, that came later as well.
so until they become like "panthers" or just some dark colored hogs, that 8 bit glitchy plaster in front of them with the calculator quality meows just pop those real form images and the hissing sound in your brain :p
yeah i dont really get why that setting is in AGS mode, but im also not sure how that affects the alien DNA chain as the stingers wouldnt be available
well if even that is under ags just for that, at least the passive option in hostility definitely should. I'm not saying it should be, some of us play factory just for the factory, not alien fps combat jumpscare, but it's inconsistent. I'm saving like 10% more ammo in the expense of all the stinger remains because I must, should be my choice
anyway, I digress. mods reported not to break achievements for now!
