Mod Development ENV

I’m an aspiring mod dev who just set up the repo and engine for the manager. How will it need to be updated on my end when 1.0 is moddable? Is it just update the repo and recompile the dev environment in visual studio and call it a day? Or is it unknown at this time?
Solution:
Once SML is updated for 1.0, the docs will be updated with instructions. Till then, unknown

You seem to have questions about modding. You should grab the Aspiring Modder role from Discord's role selection page (<id:customize>) and then read the docs carefully (https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/index.html#_for_developers). If you still have questions after that, please go to #general-help!

I just thought of one other question. Is there a good chance that I will be able to make a 0.8 mod and recompile it for 1.0 with a few extra steps?

if you havent started anything yet, my recommendation would be to wait for 1.0 tools, so you dont have to setup everything twice. you can make draft description and figure what your mod is supposed to do in the meantime, prepare graphics and so on.
