I have an RtX 3060 laptop. The new drivers aren’t working for me at all no matter what distro I’m using. How can I downgrade them so I can use my external display?
I’ve used Fedora 40, Pop-OS and Bazzite and have had the same problem on all 3. My external display plugged in via HDMI is recognised but has no signal.
One more things to try. Are you using X11 or Wayland? On the login screen in KDE is there is a selector in the bottom right (bottom left for Gnome). If you using Wayland, try X11 and see if that makes a differerence
It doesn’t help. I really don’t know what’s wrong. On the TV it works flawlessly (as flawless as nvidia can be on Linux) but on the monitor it just doesn’t work.
